Chapter Two

So here I am. It's my new chapter, my new beginning. It's taken a while to get here but I finally am! And I can't wait to tell you.....I am now Cabin Crew for British Airways. BRITISH AIRWAYS!!!!! (Yippee jumps in air)

So the cats out of the bag (lol not that anyone cared) But I'm home in England and have almost finished my training now for BA. The joining process took a considerable amount of time - I had my assessment day in October 2014, got the job in November and was due to initially start this year in May but due to references taking so long and criminal record checks expiring because of the references (don't even get me started arrgghhh) I finally started training in August!

So far I have completed SEP (Safety and emergency procedures), SEP conversions of B777 aircraft and baby Airbus variants A319, A320, A321 and have also just finished the three day AvMed (aviation medication) course. Tomorrow will be the pool drill day and slides which is actually gonna be quite fun :) then I will have finished all SEP training (minus 2 days of B747 conversion) and then begin 2 weeks of customer service training!

I'll keep you posted on how everything is going and for new starters or BA hopefuls i'll be posting an assessment day and interview blog soon.

Love Tia x
